InnerVisions is a two person photography exhibition that looks beyond the surface realities and probes a landscape of the possible. After long individual careers in photography, David Wade and Linda Mahoney were introduced this past year by photography curator Bruce Brown, and invited to show together. This exhibition finds both photographers share a common goal beyond mere visual representation, and both continue to use their cameras to express and pursue their own inner visions with a passion and deep dedication.
“I like to explore the landscape that lies beyond the immediate and ordinary, I see photography as a window into the mysterious inner workings of the Universe. It is a special place where picture taking becomes a simultaneous act of meditation and self-liberation. The camera allows me to look at the slow, relentless and barely seen tides of time, and to witness the process of becoming and going. It provides a way to look out on the edges of Eternity, and to express my awe in a way words could not.”
I want my pictures to inspire and communicate a fresh sense of wonder, and to invite viewers to let their minds roam free.
